F.A.Q's

1) What system do you use?

We use the latest high powered cleaning equipment.

  1. First we remove all dry soil from the carpet using an industrial vacuum cleaner containing a hepafilter.
  2. Next any Stubborn stains are treated.
  3. We then condition the carpet with a wool safe Hypo-Allergenic solution which loosens all oily dirt and Bacteria.
  4. The carpet is then lightly agitated using a specialist machine safe to use on all types of carpet.
  5. Then the dirt is removed from the carpet using a steam boosted hot water extraction system. This works in one cycle using powerful suction to draw out the dirt and solution, leaving the carpet nearly dry.
  6. Finally a turbo dryer is used to speed up drying. (Upholstery fabrics are cleaned the same way using smaller tools.)

2) How long does it take to dry?

This depends on various aspects such as the construction and make up of the carpet, however as a guide line we use a turbo drying system which can dry your carpet and upholstery in as little as 1-2 hours.

3) Can you move furniture?

Yes, we can move all large furniture using sliding pads. These are placed under the legs or corners of the furniture which can then be slid across the carpet effortlessly.

4) Do we have to remove all furniture?

No, we can move and clean behind large furniture. The furniture is then put back into position and protective pads are placed underneath while the drying process is completed. It would however be helpful if any small furniture is removed where possible.

5) How much will it cost?

This depends on many things. Where possible, we do like to carry out an on site survey and give an accurate written quotation, however it may be possible to give an estimate over the phone!

6) When is the soonest you can do it ?

We do like to offer a prompt service and understand that waiting ages for a tradesman to turn up can be a pain. Normally we can do small domestic jobs within a week. Larger commercial jobs may require 1-2 weeks notice.

7) Can you Protect my Carpet and Upholstery?

Yes, we offer this service and suggest it's done once the carpet has been cleaned or as soon as it's been fitted. The protector we use is odourless and harmless to pets and toddlers. Benefits of protecting include protection from liquid spills, soil is easily removed with daily vacuuming and carpets will not wear as quickly.

8) My Carpet has a protector on it, will cleaning remove this?

No, our cleaning solutions guarantee not to remove protective treatments. However your protector will naturally wear off given time and wear due to use.

9) How long will it take to clean ?

This depends on several things e.g. size, type of carpet, stains etc, however as a guide a lounge would take roughly an hour. A 3 bed house around 3-4 hours and 3 piece suites can vary from 2-3 hours. Achieving a thorough clean can take time!!

10) Can you remove odours?

Yes, in our cleaning process we always use odour neutralisers.

11) Can you remove allergies ?

Yes, the cleaning process contains an anti-allergy solution, which is included in all cleaning.

12) Can you Remove (A particular) stain?

Although some stains can be permanent we use the latest stain removal solutions and techniques which are very successful, even removing for example: chewing gum, paint, and tar etc.

13) Will our Carpet be soaking wet after?

Definitely not , our system is designed to clean deep down without over wetting the carpet/upholstery or soaking the underlay/cushion fillings ( on upholstery) .
